AirStrip Technologies, which specializes in mobile patient monitoring platforms, has added three senior executives to its staff.
The San Antonio-based company hired Lori Jones as its chief commercialization officer, Dr. Matthew Patterson as senior vice president of business transformation and Rudy Watkins as senior vice president of business development.
“Lori, Matt and Rudy are among the very best in their respective fields and will play a vital role in supporting AirStrip’s growth and development,” AirStrip Technologies CEO Alan Portela said in a news release.
AirStrip Technologies created a mobile technology platform for healthcare providers to access information about patients remotely via mobile phones, laptops and computer tablets. Originally, the company developed a mobile phone app that let doctors keep track of mothers about to deliver babies. Then, the company developed an app for cardiologists to keep track of their patients. Now, the company’s technology platform allows for access patient information in medical, surgical, labor & delivery, coronary, burns, trauma, neuro, pediatric, and neonatal ICUs, as well as other areas.
Sequoia Capital invested $30 million in the company in 2010. William Cameron Powell and Stephen Moore founded the company in 2004.
